According to the last population census on the territory of the Leningrad region live representatives of more than 80 nationalities. Most of them are Russians – 90,8%. Ukrainians – 3,0%, Belo Russians – 2,0%, Finns – 0,7%, Tatars – 0,5%, Veps – 0,3%. The remainder of the population consists of Roma, Jews, Karels, Chuvashs, Estonians, Poles, Azerbaijanians, Uzbeks. Their share of the overall population of the region is 2,7%. |
