Demographic data on the population of the Leningrad Region

According to the last population census on the territory of the Leningrad region live representatives of more than 80 nationalities. Most of them are Russians – 90,8%. Ukrainians – 3,0%, Belo Russians – 2,0%, Finns – 0,7%, Tatars – 0,5%, Veps – 0,3%. The remainder of the population consists of Roma, Jews, Karels, Chuvashs, Estonians, Poles, Azerbaijanians, Uzbeks. Their share of the overall population of the region is 2,7%.
